Then, last September, the 23-year-old announced his retirement from the League after playing for seven years. In December, PawN explained in an interview with InvenGlobal that he had retired because he had developed OCD.
His symptoms first appeared in 2017 when he started using a ruler to configure his monitor. But it got worse a year later when he returned to Korea and it got to the point where he couldn’t play on stage anymore. PawN said he would measure the distance between him and his monitor, its height and even the angle. “Everything I couldn’t measure with a ruler or protractor, I had to measure by sensation,” said PawN.PawN Might Return Soon To Professional League Of Legends Play After A Hiatus
PawN’s play chair even started to trigger his obsessive-compulsive disorder. The last drop was when the size of the monitors used on stage dropped from 24 inches to 25 inches. He just couldn’t adapt, no matter how hard he tried.
But now, PawN has said that he could make a comeback after he finishes treating his OCD and go on a diet to deal with his rear disc problem. He won’t be back until he’s sure he has to leave during the season.
